Many of us have a negative voice that talks to us in our heads. It’s the voice that tells us we’ve messed something up, that we’ll never succeed at achieving sometime and that others are better than us.

Obviously changing that negative unhelpful voice in our head into a happy positive one which inspires us and boosts confidence is going to be a massive help.

And Brian Colbert of the Irish Institute of NLP recommends a bit of chanting to train that inner voice to say nicer things. He’s a big fan of repeating the phrase “shaaaaaaaaaaah” over and over to yourself.
